Have you see the OVA or read the manga series of Hellsing? If so how far have you gotten? If not please direct your attention to youtube, and watch OVA 1-4 at least. Warning: If you have watched the anime we require you watch the OVA, or read the manga. The anime is not canon. This is not our opinion. This is the law set down by the creator of Hellsing, Kouta Hirano.
- Read it all and watched all the OVAs.

Name: Marcus Cruor

Age: 34

Gender: Male

Physical appearance: Marcus stands just over six feet tall and weighs in at 160 pounds. He is Caucasian and somewhat pale but possesses a lean, well-toned physique. Medium length, shaggy, pale blond hair obscures much of his angular face. The only features truly visible are his slender nose, pointed chin covered in slight stubble, and his kind grey eyes.

Clothing of choice: Contrary to his laid back nature, Marcus presents a rather professional attire most of the time. His main form of dress includes a tailored black suit of decent quality, well-shined black dress shoes, a black belt of Italian leather (its buckle adorned with the symbol of the Knights), and a stainless steel wristwatch (waterproof). His favorite color being green, Marcus is more often than not found wearing a green dress shirt with her suit and a simple white tie. When he is able to abandon more professional concerns, Marcus dresses for comfort rather than style and immediately dons his signature bucket hat which is covered in white and green stripes.

Weaponry of choice: Cruor’s main weapon is undoubtly his rhetoric. An uncanny orator and politician, Marcus is able to command crowds like a second nature. That being said, he is no fool and recognizes the need for self defense. To that end he carries a simple walking cane. Planted in the tip of the cane is a powerful stun gun (a feature of his own design, built by Saxon). The shock produces over 100 milliamps which is more than enough to disrupt the victim’s heart and breathing aka IT’S FATAL.
The cane contains a second hidden surprise in addition to the tazer, a blade hidden within the shaft. The blade is forged from reinforced high carbon steel (blessed and powder coated with silver). Inside the handle of the sword (which is also the handle of the cane) is a compact ultrasonic generator. This causes the blade to vibrate at an extremely high frequency, ensuring that the blade never become stuck and a glancing blow becomes a gaping wound.

Race: Human

Abilities:
Marcus received the same brutal training regiment that every other member of the founding Knights had and therefore has a decent grasp of martial arts and self defense techniques (including survival techniques). In addition to that he is a world class swordsman due to his tutelage under such blade masters as Rone Dreshendler and Castiel Angelus.

Despite all this, Marcus does not have the raw talent for combat his allies do and prefers to observe from the sidelines. He is, however, academically and tactically brilliant, always a step ahead of his opponent. While his scientific ability pales in comparison to that of Henry Saxon, Cruor prides himself on being able to think outside the box and uses this to catch his opponents off guard with a combination of misdirection and deception.

Organization: Knights of the Damned

Personality:
Although he is usually seen as a laid-back, jovial fellow, Marcus also shows a deceptively cunning and serious side when the situation warrants it. He commonly uses idle conversation and outward concern as an act of distracting his opponents. Despite his care-free attitude, he always speaks politely, but is sometimes sarcastic. It has often been said that he tends to go over the top with whatever he becomes passionate about. He holds fast to the ideals of the original Knights of the Holy Light and strives to make their paradise a reality. This dream has become a slight obsession of his along with a fascination in sociology and human nature.

Rank: Ruler of the Knights

Biography:
The son of Rone Dreschendler, emperor of the Knights of the Holy Light, Marcus was destined for greatness from birth. However, paranoia and suspicion eventually led Rone to disown his only child and young Marcus was given his mother’s maiden name. Stripped of his birthright, he developed his jovial personality to mask his inner resentment as he endured the strict upbringing of a Knight in his father’s order. His rough childhood was made substantially better due to his fast friendship with Kachiri Ferreira, an orphan girl adopted by the Knights in an excursion to Brazil.
Unbelievably athletic, Kachiri soon proved to be the perfect counter to the studious Marcus. As the saying goes, opposites attract and the two soon became inseparable. Cursed with a habit of talking his way into problems, Marcus was often forced to use Ferreira as a bodyguard of sorts. Soon the day of the Exodus arrived, the day that Rone and his fellow founding Knights would begin their search for the Holy Grail and to his surprise, Marcus and Kachiri were selected to join them. They had been hand picked from their generation to continue their training while the Order was left in the capable hands of Demetrius Veran.

Years later, the last of the founders have passed on and the Exodus has officially ended in failure. Finally returning home after his years of travel and training, Cruor found the Order in the hands of the insane pyrokinetic, Adara. Through superior tactics and planning, Marcus and Kachiri were able to kill the psychopath with little trouble just as the final stage of her plot to take control of England began. With both the Knights of the Damned, and the Queen of England, under his control, Marcus Crour has at his disposal all the tools he could need to remake the world into the paradise he had dreamed of for so long.

RP Sample:

Sample 1 (The assassination of Adara and the closest Marcus will probably come to actual combat)
Adara snarled darkly at the twosome before her. Her mouth full of sharpened canines betrayed her hatred and near animalistic aggresion. She took a step forward, her boot splashing in the water.

"You think I need my flames to kill the likes of you? You forget yourself Marcus. I'm leading the Order for a reason you know. Under my command we control this entire godforsaken county. Today England burns...tomorrow...I bring on the Apocalypse." those frightening teeth morphed into a cheshire grin as the air grew tense. Adara was preparing for something.

Marcus had studied enough combat recordings to recognize a quickdraw stance. She was planning on shooting them with those guns holstered on her hips. He sent Kachiri a sidelong glance, telling her the time had come.

"No Adara. You're in charge because the last of the decent people in the Order have died. You're a mad dog who got off it's leash and I'm not about to let you run rampant. In a fair fight you'd kill me in less than a minute...but I'm not fighting fair now am I?" with that Marcus thrust the tip on his cane into the puddle covering the floor and activated teh tazer. A powerful stream of electricity travelled along the watery pather to Adara and shot up the Primera Minister's legs.

While water may be an excellent conductor, there was enough resistence to ensure Adara didn't die from that shock. That being said it hurt like hell, a fact made clear by Adara's roar of pain. throughout the ordeal, she managed to remain on her feet. It was facinating really, usng pure beserker rage to overcome crippling pain. Adara moved to create her flames despite the danger but Marcus had forseen this as well. "Now Kachiri!" he said signalling his old friend to end this madness once and for all.

Sample Post 2 (Conversation with a high ranking knight regarding the English takeover)
Smiling happily, Marcus chose not to answer Kachiri directly and instead pulled out his cellphone. He had given Saxon more than enough time to accomplish his goal so it was time for a little update. He scrolled down to the Prime Minister's number and moved to make the call when much to his suprise, one of the newest additions to the Knight's ranks sprang into view. Marcus blinked once in suprise as a horde of english police gave chase after the energetic young Raptis. Shaking his head, Cruor couldn't supress the chuckle building in his breast. Despite only knowing he boy a short time, he had to admit he was fond of him. Raptis had immense potential, along with a touch of arrogence.

Taking the black box from Kachiri's lap, he thrust a thumb in the direction of the newly formed pile of uniforms, beneath which the Ensign struggled. They had a schedule to keep and this was one of the rare occasions that a bit of brute force was the easiest course of action. "I'm gonna give old Henry a call. Do me a favor and help our young friend out ok? Just make sure you leave these guys alive, they kind of work for us in a roundabout way now."

Cruor's fingers drummed atop the box as the phone rang once before Saxon answered. Marcus' voice remained calm, jovial even. "Well it's been a long time Henry. I'm not quite sure how to break this to you but Adara's taken a permenant leave of absence. I'll be running things from here on out. I gotta congradulate you on your work over the last few days, impressive stuff. I'd like to call a little meeting of the minds back in scotland while things quiet down here. Please try and get back as soon as you can."

Marcus hung up the phone and returned it to his pocket. The mind washing programs should be kicking in even as they had spoken. By killing Adara Marcus had inherited the protection all the Order leaders enjoyed. He was essentially untouchable. Raptis was one of the few members who had yet to undergo the process and as much as it hurt him to do it, Marcus would ensure it happened as soon as they reached the castle.

PostSubject: Marcus Cruor Weapon Addition   Mon Mar 28, 2011 12:36 am

NEW WEAPON ADDITION – POWER ARMOR

Following the Knight’s attack on the Vatican and the tragic death of Lysandros Raptis, Marcus has fallen into a self-destructive spiral of alcoholism and mounting self hatred. In the depths of his inebriated depression, Cruor began work on a means to make amends for his past mistakes, a weapon capable of safeguarding his forces and ensuring he does not repeat the mistakes of the past. The end result was this personalized suit of power armor, designed around Marcus’ own biometrics, he is the only person in the world capable of using it.

The armor consists of three primary layers to ensure maximum protection. The lowest layer is tubing which acts as rudimentary life support. Various power conduits and computer interfaces are weaved into each tube, which is then coated in a flexible yet sturdy carbon alloys. Mounted on the interior side of this layer are several small needle-like protrusions. Once donned, these points will pierce the user’s skin and take a genetic sample. Only Marcus’ genetic code is compatible with the armor meaning that a mere sample of his blood is not enough to fool the system. The next layer consists of the major armor plates covering the chest, arms, legs, etc. Each plate is crafted from lightweight titanium alloy with an additional coating of Carbon Nitride over it to ensure extreme toughness. It should be noted that Cruor designed the plates to be as small as possible to allow for freedom of movement, in certain sections the armor plates are no larger than a quarter. Finally, the outermost coating is a substance of Marcus’ own design called Aero-Gel. This substance is resistant to heat and electricity adding yet another layer of defense. The armor has been partially demagnetized (but powerful magnets can easily bypass this) and shielded against emp strikes. All this being said, the armor is constructed to damped or completely deflect incoming pressure from impacts but it is far less durable when faced with outward pressure. That is to say something hitting the armor plates is no real threat, but if something were to tear or pull at those plates with sufficient force they could potentially rip Cruor's armor off piece by piece.

While it’s primary purpose is to protect Marcus, the armor does have a number of offensive and passive abilities as well. A series of electrically powered servos located in the joints of the armor boosts Marcus’ physical strength roughly 10 fold. Mounted in each of the vambraces of the armor are small double barreled cannons which fire .50 caliber high explosive rounds. Obviously space is an issue so ammunition is limited to 20 shots total or 10 per arm. The helmet of the armor contains communication equipment linked to the Knight’s satellite and a small oxygen tank holding 5 minutes worth of breathable air. Finally, the boots of the armor contain small, yet very powerful, vernier jets which are fuelled by a high performance chemical fuel cell located in each thigh. The boots are capable of reaching mach .60 (sixty percent the speed of sound) at top speed which makes it a touch slower than commercial jet travel which averages at mach .75. Though the suit can reach great heights, the material the suit is constructed from has a tendency to ice up at high velocity which will put the system into a stasis lock and require a full reboot. In simple terms if he goes too high the armor freezes up and shuts off which is bad for cruor, very, very bad.

This brings us to the greatest drawback of the armor, lifespan. Prior to his death, Lysandros Raptis' final creation was a revolutionary new type of battery dubbed the R.A.P.T.I.S. (Rechargeable augmented power transfer injection system). The brilliant design is capable of storing massive ammounts of electrical energy and Marcus did not hesitate to utilize it for a power source as a final tribute to Rapits. Despite the impressive output of the battery, located in the chest section of the suit, the armor’s systems require a very large amount of power to remain functional. Because of that, the maximum amount of time that Cruor can utilize the powered armor is 10 posts. After that time has passed the armor will be forced into an emergency shutdown. Weapon systems, strength augmentation, communications, and most importantly flight will all be unusable. However, even without power the frame can still be moved by Cruor but it is merely a very detailed suit of medieval armor at that point for all intensive purposes. In addition to that, even with the steps Marcus took to keep the suit light weight, the act of trying to move the armor without the aid of electric servos is very draining thus slowing Marcus to a crawl. While the power limit is crippling to the suit’s overall effectiveness, Marcus has little intention of using it in the field unless absolutely necessary. Its’ primary purpose is to defend the Knight’s stronghold and can be remotely connected to the power grid which runs the base. This means that as long as Marcus remains within one mile of the Knight’s stronghold he has an unlimited source of power.

OOC NOTE: I realize that this armor seems quite powerful and it is meant to be as it will be serving as a last line of defense/ultimate weapon for the Knights of the Damned. In addition to that the chances of it actually being used outside of the castle are slim. The other organizations each have their trump cards and other means of ensuring the safety of their base of operations so this will be serving as the Knight’s answer.

Iron Man, for the world.

I would like to see maybe one or two more back-sets of this armor upgrade; maybe a specific spot on the spine or something because it is man made.

If you could please do something like that, it would boost my lean towards approval.

The following line has been added to the end of the second paragraph and details an additional weakness as per Sirina's request. In regard to Leon's comment, I had originally intended to rp out the actual construction but I felt it would be best to get the plans approved beforehand. Rest assured, Marcus will be getting his hands greasy making this thing.
