PostSubject: The streets of Rome   Thu Oct 21, 2010 11:55 pm

The streets of Rome were empty and vacant of life. A cold wind blew down the narrow and long streets of Rome. The many people of Rome were in their homes soundly sleepying unaware of the world Orginizations like Iscariot, and the Hellsing agents were keeping away from them. They were fighting a war, a long and bloody war, that was as old as the very begining of human life. Only those who have seen hell, and have come back were able to fight the horrors that lurked in the shadows. People like Kyle, and the Agents of Iscariot. Kyle had seen everything around him shatter, and blow away in one night. One night he would never forget. He was fighting this war to make sure no other human being went through the same pain and horror as he did back during his days of living as a happy and peaceful priest living in Canada. There was a time when you couldn't go a minute without seeing a warm and friendly smile across the mans face. At one time all his smiles were real and caring. No however there was hardly a time when another Iscariot agent saw him smile a real smile when around the castle. Outside of that world, Kyle was still very much the same man he was before, just he was different now. His eyes, and his stance were all different. Kyle had a broken past, and a bloody unending future ahead of himself. The world that once belong to the childern of God no longer resides in their hands, but rather the hands of fearmongering leaders, Vampires, Werewolves, the corupt, the unclean, and hateful people. The world no longer was in the hands of the good people, but rather the dark, twisted, and corput hands of those who lurked and still lurk in the shadows. Not a day goes by in Kyle's life that he wishes he could give the world back to the hands of the good. The only thing this man could do is help purge those vile, evil people, and creatures that plagued the world. Kyle was one of the few would look his enemy in the eyes before pulling the trigger, and suffer no regret. He knew that once the world was cleansed of the filth he would not be welcome in the new world. After all he was a killer, and he had done so many bad things in the name of God, that often made him question his leaders.

A slient clanking noise could be heard down the streets of Rome under the full moon. A gentle and cold breeze blew through the streets, and against the source of the noise. Within moments a figure wearing a long trench coat symbolizing it was with Iscariot. The figure was that of a man . He wore plate armor over his torse, and plate armor over his arms, and legs. His helmet was covered by a silver cross helmet. Three crosses hung around him. Two hung around his neck, and the third hung from the long cross blade at his side. The man had a fully customized P-90 slung over his shoulders. He was also armed with a golden desert eagle at his righ hip. The man walked as if he had no real care in the world. He was wearing a thin black shirt under the plate armor, and loose black pants under the plate armor around his legs. This man was a Crusader, and part of the Spec Ops division within Iscariot. His job was go places and deal with the dangerous things when the Iscariot Regenerators were to busy. This man was unafraid of anything. No one could tell how he felt while his head was under the helmet. This mans name was Kyle Adam Dielschneider.

Kyle hadn't recieved any orders since his return from the US. The only thing he did know however was that he was supposed to attend a meeting. Kyle however had other plans that involved sleeping and taking a small break. He wasn't Anderson, he was human after all. He could just run back a fourth at every little call or jingle of a bell. He had limits, and he was slugging around heavy gear all the time, since most of the missions didn't require him to be quick and fast. Which did bother him quite a bit, but he mearly just ignored it. He was strong enough to carry the gear, but it was often slow moving. So most times he just did what he was doing now, and only wear some of his custom plate armor to allow him to make quick movements, and allow him more time to dodge or avade when attacked. Right now though Kyle was bored. He had just finished his little break, and had heard nothing from Iscariot. Sure he didn't mind this but still it was a bit bothersome to him. He would have thought someone to come up and tell him what was going on, or why no one was answering his communitications. For now however he just yawned and walked down the streets of Rome looking and waiting for something to do tonight.

Sir Rodrigo De Luca was sitting on a nearby roof top as he scanned the empty streets. Dressed in his white coat, hood, and armor would make him stnad out, but fortunately no one noticed thanks for his coat being zipped and his armor hidden. Sighing as he looked aorund he jumped from roof top to roof top mearly looking aorund and landed on a nearby edge of a balcony.

"Sigh since returning from Romania things have been quiet around here. Oh well maybe I can stir up my own fun" the Templar Knight thought as he flipped through the air and landed on the ground.

Walking down the street he looked around again and saw Kyle Dielschneider down the street. He ducked into an ally as he saw Kyle wlaking towrads him on the street and he threw up his white hood as he waited for him to pass the ally.

"I see even you can get bored once in a while eh Kyle?" he asked from the ally hiding in the shadows.

He wasn't trying to delibrately hide from Kyle but was trying to hide from Iscariot's enemies and spies in the city.

Kyle had continued to do what he had been doing for awhile now, and so far there didn't seem to be any changes in his boring time walking around the streets of Rome. He still had his helmet apon his head. He felt secure in it, mainly due to the tech inside of it. He did after all have the most advanced armor, yet thing was when he wore the full armor set it was heavy. But it made him a tank, and a powerful one at that. Hence why he could be sent to some pretty dangerous places where only Regenerators were only supposed to be sent to. It gave him a good feeling to know he was able to go everywhere. Well it was mainly due to his armor set he wore. He was also quite quick as well when he only wore a few pieces of the armor set, just like he was now.

Kyle stopped and stood in the middle of the street, then looked up at the star filled sky. He heard someone come up. Well it wasn't hard mainly due to the fact this person was wearing armor. Kyle guessed it was most likely Luca. Who else but he, and Luca wore the armor of the Crusader? No one did it was just them. Only difference between theirs was Kyle's was made to be more modern and was made to take a shot from a .50 cal. Kyle was more then willing to give Luca some upgrades to his if he asked. Besides he still had his parents money, and businesses back in Canada. When the Templar ducked down in a dark alley way Kyle sighed and chuckled a bit.

Kyle removed his helmet when Rodrigo spoke saying how even he could get bored in an area like this. Kyle then looked down as he pulled a smoke from his priest coat pocket and placed it between his lips and lit it. He took one long drag, and then looked over to where Rodrigo was. Kyle then exhaled the smoke out through his nose, and smiled. "Indeed Templar. Its not the same when everyone's asleep and inside. Theres no one to talk to, or help. Much like how this area is pretty secure, and safe for you to come out. If it was not safe they would have shot me, or my helmet would have picked up on their comms if they were spying on us." Kyle replied in a friendly tone as he took another drag and exhaled again. "What are you doing on a night like this? I thought all Iscariot agents were to be at the castle?" Kyle asked in a rather questioning tone, yet still friendly.

"Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! I was never one for those meetings. The other Templars act like they carry the Cross of St. Basil's up thier back sides" Rodrigo said as he flipped up and caught as nearby scaffolding and hung by his arm for a moment.

"I myself have always preffered a more customary approach to life as a knight of Almighty God. Among those include going out and trying to see and live amongst the people we fight to protect" he said as he pulled himself up and looked down at Kyle with a smile and crouched like an eagle.

Kyle just mearly smiled at Luca's reply of how he was never one for the meetings. Kyle was the same way. He hated them, and he even told Enrico this, and Anderson. Of course he was told if he didn't he'd get into a huge pile of shit. Kyle though just ignored this, he knew Anderson would have his back. Or so he hoped, well he thought he would. Kyle quickly shook these thoughts away, and took a long drag from his smoke. Kyle then exhaled slowly blowing the smoke up towards the night sky. "You and me both Rodrigo, plus the Templars were never really my kind of people. All in all I'm nothing more than a Crusader, who just happens to hold a great deal of wealth, and companies back in North America." Kyle told Luca as he began to walk down the street once again.

Kyle then threw the smoke to the ground and crushed it under his foot. "Its funny how easy it is to attack Iscariot when everyone's to busy at a meeting..." Kyle said aloud as he held his right hand index finger up to his ear. "Looks like comms are out, meaning things went to hell over there. Most likely we're going to see his Holiness leave early for his tour around europe." Kyle pointed out in a cold and rather annoyed tone as he kept walking down the street. He then slid his hands into his pockets and sighed. He knew the Templar would follow, well he rather guessed he would, but more so in his own way.

Crawling up the sid eof the wall and walking along balcony edges Rodrigo kept himself hidden from any wandering eyes on the streets but low enough to speak with Kyle as they walked along. He leaped and flipped through the air expertly and crawled low as he moved along side of him.

"More then likely they have launched an assualt, and I'm sure by now his Holiness should be out of the city. Though no doubt it won't be long until he wants us to retaliate" he said as he landed on a nearby balconey edge and waited for Kyle to move along.

He then kicked his feet up and actually sat down and put his arms behind his head as he thought about the upcoming events. "All the while I have no doubt the demons we fight will use this infighting against us all. Depressing at times" he said as he lowered his mask a bit.

(OOC: Sorry I've been busy and running around with other things lately but don't worry I'll post here, and I am no longer busy XD.)

IC:

Kyle sighed a bit, and looked up at the star filled sky as he walked on. He knew Luca was now walking beside him, and he also knew what he was saying was most likely true now. At least that should be the case in this matter seeing as how the vatican is not quite as safe as everyone thought it was anymore. Well not until Iscariot and the pope's guard finished up with restarting the defences and building a better network of defences to fool Alucard. Kyle just shook his head, and walked on. He listened to everything Luca had to say and he nodded his head in reply. "Well his Holiness better be out of the city now, and most likely is if his personal detail didn't F up... which more than once they often do if they aren't thinking straight... In any case the Demon's should already be gone now. Mainly due to how the comms are back up. Meaning we're going to get order to stay on base or put on patrol detail during the night and day. Either way a war has been started, and we're going to come out on top no matter how hard the enemy tries to fight us off with their little pets." Kyle said as he continued down the street. Then within a minute Kyle came into view of his car. It was a rather nice sports car that looked like it costed a pretty penny. Kyle however was going to be giving it away in a draw that he was going to be setting up sometime soon at one of the churchs he was going to be assigned to guard.

As Kyle climbed in he got an order telling him and Luca to return to the castle and await further orders. Kyle sighed and shook his head. "Alright Templar we have orders to return to base and await further orders. I say we don't dick around here, and get going. Otherwise we're going to have Anderson, Heinkel, or Ronoldo breathind down our necks." Kyle told Luca as he started the car. Once Luca had jumped in or had gone another way Kyle would drive off back to the castle.

((OOC: for now, I am posting up a beacon for the fight. Should anyone be in combat with Valdis/Giselle, you will met her here.))

Valdis:

There was blood. There was screaming. There was pain. And there was chaos of the perfect pitch. All around it, a scattering mass of 'innocents' fled from the general disaster area, though many were not light enough on their feet to stray from its grasp; those who stayed with purpose found themselves with even more to fear. The police - and rather quickly, the special forces - teemed through the rubble and carnage, those with weaponry the only living creatures to rescue those who may or may not still be drawing breath. As most of the armed men skirted the edges of the area to set up a moving perimeter, some decided that laying down a 'suppressive' fire would keep things in check; it was a short-sighted decision.

Once the first rounds flew through the air, the black monstrosity grinned its toothy maw and cackled. The spent ammunition rained down as a hail of metal, but the only impact it could find was on hard, flowing skin. Bouncing off with little effect, the rounds fell to its feet, mounding in a tiny replica of the space around them.

Reaching to its left, the creature easily stuck a clawed hand through the driver's side door of a medium-sized car. Snarling in pleasure, it effortlessly heaved the vehicle at the nearest group, not watching its decent before gathering another car and tossing it at the next group.

Enter from Iscariot Castle.

==============================

Among the screams of the mass of people running away, one figure in the crowed was walking the opposite way, toward the carnage, toward the special forces that seemed to set up a defensive perimeter, though it seemed to be easily broken as the priest saw a vehicle fly up in the air and land a few yards in front of him, crashing into the men before seeing yet another one fly at a second group. The Heavy boots steps were faint in all the noise of the current conflict that was happening a few yards in front of him,the cybernetic priest wore a long over coat atop of priest robes and white gloves, decorated with red crosses, standing at 5'8 with sandy blond hair stood Father Michel Miles. A Iscariot priest sent to calm the situation, though he would also have help,he was the first to arrive. He walked threw the crowed with his straight face that he always kept, his eyes sending the images of the situation in front of him directly to his computer-like brain, studying what was happening in front of him. Situation A,switching to combat mode... The priests hands shot into his robes, pulling out both of his Beretta's from his waist holsters and lifting them into the air,his arms bent at his elbows.

The cyborg priest walked right into the special forces, walking past them, ignoring their warnings to move and get away from the area. Looking directly at the Abomination that was before him.Target Found... Total targets detected: One... Michel observed the monstrosity that was in front of him, after watching from a distance that it threw two vehicles,he didn't want to get into close quarters with it,but he didn't think his swords or two handguns would have much effect. He had heard multiple gunshots from the special forces on he way here, they all couldn't of missed and there was no wounds, could it have had regenerative powers? The cyborg was more machine then human, and relied on his computer and cybernetic parts a lot more then the human side of his brain, the odds weren't good. He was the first to arrive and he didn't know when the others would arrive. He had to do his best to stall it,even though he really didn't think he could hurt the thing,he would have to try,he could always be rebuilt if he was destroyed anyway. The cyborg killing priest lowered his forearms as the barrels of his guns pointed at the thing, the loud sound of 2 guns shots firing simultaneously, sending a bullet from each of his gun barrels flying toward the wind, whistling threw the air. Computer targeting system active, shots fired.

====> The Front Steps/The Judean Square

The steps from a running man continued to lightly sound from the rooftop of a single building. The pair of glasses that sat on the face of the man cover his eyes from sight. The amount of screaming was more than unsettling and the hearing of it on such a constant basis was actually something he just did not get used to nor did he really ever want to. The large cross that was held on his right shoulder could easily be taken as a sign of God himself, come to ease the suffering.

The steps slowly came to a stop as the man looked down onto the city and the scene. The carnage was something that could not be forgiven. The sinner would pay for the crimes that they had wrought and it did not take him long to find the source of this disturbance. He held tightly onto the long end of the cross as he paused for a moment. There seemed to be one person among the special forces that had moved away and closer to the monster with weapons drawn. "Well, if that isn't something you don't see everyday. Now to get a name and put this abomination to rest."

With little else in thought he pulled up on the cross and placed a foot onto the ledge of the building. There was no sense in simply showing up in a normal fashion, he never was one for that. the long end of the cross was now aimed toward the sky at his back as a small rectangle-like object popped out the side, a red circle in its middle that let his eye see through it clearly. The top of the cross opened as a small but wide cylinder was pulled from its hiding place. With the press of a switch, a missile ejected itself from the now smoked entrance toward the demonic creature.

The simple joy of slaughter; oh how the creature had missed it. Blood rained down after a vehicle bounced into a fleeing quad of armed men, and it coated everything under it with a hot slick of pure crimson. Cackling happily, the creature was reaching for an overly-sized chunk of rubble, ready to heave it at another group, when more shots were fired. The rounds bounced off its roiling black skin, the impact leaving faint ripples that lasted only seconds. Turning, the creature barred rows of hideously fanged teeth at the new-comer, overjoyed to at least have someone willing to play at a closer range.

Clacking its claws again in anticipation, the black demon took a stride forward before cocking its head; it was the sound, and not the sight of the grenade that gave its presence away. Jerking its head to the rushing sound, it caught the image of a large projectile hurtling in its direction.

And then it grinned. How happy it was! As the grenade bared down on the creature, it lept backwards with odd grace; a fraction of a second later, the ordnance impacted the stone street and exploded in a fiery ball. Shrapnel was hurled in all directions, but thankfully no one of human origins was injured.

For a moment it appeared the creature had been caught in the blast, but as the survivors looked on, it emerged from the flames, its blazing blue eyes filled with lust for more. Its black, prismatic skin was now sporting areas of simple ebony, as though something had been stripped away. Growling with pleasure, the thing looked upwards to the owner of the launcher; oh glorious day, it was Iscariot! Though it was never allowed freedom, it recalled everything that bitch ADA had been told, and from what it remembered, both the man with the two guns and this cross-bearing loony were in that infernal sect. Licking its lips in anticipation, the creature called out to this new playmate.

"Come down. Play my game."

The voice was harsh and deep, rumbling out from a maw of pure white razors. It motioned with long, strangely elegant claws to the new man, a distorted form of a come-hither wave.

The cyborg noticed his bullets had almost no effect as he watched his bullets bounce off the things black skin. The killing bot watched the demon take a stride toward him before seeing a grenade fly down from a building to the side, toward the creature and exploded,Michel's quick robotic eyes followed the beast as it jumped back out of the explosion. The cyborg moved his left arm up to block some of the shrapnel which ricochet off his steel frame and down to the floor. Michel figured it was his backup since it was the only person who was shooting back at it besides the special ops, though he didn't expect another member of Iscariot to be here so soon. Michel looked at the flames as the beast rose up. The cyborg looked at the thing for a few seconds and then moved his handguns back into his robes and instead untied the straps and pulled out his two swords from the inside of is overcoat he had on over his robes. Turning his head toward were he saw the grenade fly down from,he noticed a large cross and a man standing behind it. The things they're turning into weapons these days. he said to himself as Michel turned back to the thing and moved his arms out, pointing both his blades toward the beast. After seeing the thing fling a few cars like they were kids toys,he wasn't going to just run out toward the thing. It took you long enough to get here! The robot yelled without looking up toward Lee while at the same time using the robotic part of his brain to compute some scenarios in his head. Your 0.05 seconds late..and I walked here! he yelled toward Lee again while still running tons of ideas threw his head for the fight. Still not knowing if the man was a Iscariot member or not,but he took a chance with it since he saw the giant cross.

Lee stood at the ledge of the building and looked through the scope as the grenade was launched and hurled itself through the air. There was a light shimmer in his glasses as the explosion went off after contact. He raised his head up as he lowered the cross down slightly as, after just a few moments, the creature appeared once more. He let the end of the launcher fall droop downward "Tch."

He raised a hand from his launcher and up to his glasses as he pushed them up on his face. He then blinked several times as he leaned forward and placed his arm onto his knee as he listened to the creature speaking about of games "Oh, well if you ask like that then who am I to tu-" He paused as there was a loud voice yelling outward and his eyes turn over toward the other fighter. He laughed hesitantly as he rubbed the back of his head and then turned toward the creature once more "Oh? My watch is just point five seconds slow."

He stood upright onto the ledge and then moved the cross into his hands as he turned it over and launcher closed and returned to its normal cross top. He moved his hands onto the lower edge of the cross and raised it onto his shoulder as he looked down onto the monstrosity "Now, you wanted to play a game. I am more than will to oblige."

He leaned down and then pushed off of the ledge, it bursting the ledge over the roof as he was pushed into the air. He swung the cross out and around and as he started to fall, he brought the cross up above him. He aimed to do the simple and straight forward, let gravity pull him down and use the massive cross to act as a hammer onto the monster.

How wonderful! The man who carted about such a ridiculous weapon was going to oblige the creature, and come to play. But before he set himself to the task, a familiar voice rang out. Damn this inhuman nuisance! Why won’t he let well enough alone? Growling, the creature was distracted for only a moment, but it was enough for the other Iscariot to make his move. As the man and his cross bore down on the thing, it pivoted around with just enough time to throw up both arms and step back; it could feel the skin and muscle give slightly where the armor had been burned away, but nothing broke free. The armor-free areas were slowly knitting back together, but the skin underneath them was scorched and, well, blackened from the blast. The armor would eventually cover these vulnerable spots, but even then, the skin would remain un-healed, causing the fibers underneath to be exposed; this didn’t appear to worry the creature all that much, as it grinned happily at its playmate.

A small crater had formed under its feet from the sheer force of the blow, and dust mixed with debris ejected into the already smoky air. Sweeping its arms down, moving with the man’s own momentum, the creature aimed to bring the cross to the ground, and open up an opportunity for the real frolicking to begin. Its solid blue eyes shone through the clouds of dust, pinpoints of light that begged for more.

Michel took the chance he was given as he noticed the creature being distracted by the man with the giant cross as he ran the calculations threw his mind. He moved the tips of his blades down to the ground and ran forward with all the strength in his robotic legs, attempting to get in close while the monstrosity's hands were busy,as he ran along in a hunched over position, the tips of his blades made sparks shoot from the stone the swords were being pulled over. The killing bot of Iscariot got in closer and jumped to the side, landing on the hood of a car,one that hasn't been thrown by the beast. Once Michel was on the hood he jumped forward with both swords out, jumping at the creatures side but in reality was aiming the sword in his right hand so that it would cut across the creatures spine if it hit,the other blade would impale its side.
